A series of Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) has been produced by the Center for Research and Development of Higher Education, the University of Tokyo and The University of Edinburgh. These are free and designed for graduate students, postdocs and other early-career researchers who would like to work in an EMI university. The MOOCs are divided into 3 modules: EA1 (basic knowledge necessary for academia); EA3 (English Medium Instruction in Higher Education Settings); EA 4 (Global Englishes for EMI).

You can learn about the basics of EMI such as its definition, driving forces and issues faced by stakeholders. Each module has a series of video lectures given by Dr Galloway, quizzes and a final essay assignment.

The handbook is developed by the TAEC project to raise awareness about the teaching approaches, language uses, and intercultural communication in English medium instruction (EMI) contexts at non-Anglophone universities.  
 It focuses on how teachers can implement EMI in their teaching, taking into consideration the local classroom characteristics and educational culture.

TAEC手冊,主旨在提高非英語大學對英語教學 (EMI) 環境中的教學方法,語言使用和跨文化交流的認識。 重點探討教師如何結合在地教室特徵和教育文化,在教學中實施EMI。

A five-module CPD programme developed by the EQUiiP Erasmus+ project (2016-2019). The programme provides support for educational developers and lecturers aiming to ensure quality in international and intercultural classrooms in higher education. 
The modules are: 
• Introduction to the International Classroom 
• Internationalising Course Design 
• Intercultural Group Dynamics 
• The Role of Language 
• Feedback & Reflective Processes 
 The modules may be delivered either as an intensive programme during a single week or as a longitudinal series of one-day modular workshops spread over an academic year.

This is a BALEAP Conference workshop slides provided by Dr Katrien Deroey. The workshop was designed to:  
 
- overview of published training initiatives with their reported successes and challenges 
- work in small groups, brainstorming ideas for an EMI support programme 
- discuss those ideas/proposals in the whole group & summarise key ideas to consolidate the insights gained through the workshop

The Teacher Education in EAP (TEd in EAP) SIG specialises in teacher education for the EAP profession, specifically the education and professional development of EAP practitioners. This specialist area covers a range of issues from development in different EAP contexts to EAP practitioner knowledge base and implications for development and education.

The SIG is aimed at two constituent groups:  
 *Those delivering, designing and supporting Continuing Professional Development (CPD)/teacher education for teachers of EAP.  
*Individual practitioners interested in developing their own practice, particularly where there is limited or no institutional support. In this way, the SIG aim to facilitate teacher agency.  
 

The website also provides information on a range of EAP conferences, workshops, and TEAP courses.
